- There is a warmth in our smiles, as we look into each other’s eyes as we lay in bed before going to sleep after an argument, and we know just how much we really care about each other. We descend into the very core of our selves to find that place we’ve kept for one another, the place we’ve carefully built, where we saved every little detail, of our time together. We drown in the memories and emotions we built, intoxicated by it all. But in the blink of an eye, this lovely place is washed away, in a rush, and we imerse from the haze. The warmth is gone, replaced by a chilly gaze. We are aware of the chaos that’s coming, I can feel my blood freezing, I can feel a web of emotions emerging from the pit of my stomach, making me sick. I know that by tomorrow, you will be gone. Only the sweet scent of your precense in my life, will remain.
